I’ve been in the web development field since 2005 professionally, but have been coding websites since 1997 (back in the Geocities/Angelfire/Tripod days). Most of my career history has been as a front-end developer, with my strengths lie with WordPress development, and CSS3/HTML5/Javascript coding. I’m also skilled with PHP, and other frameworks such as Codeigniter, Symfony2, and Smarty. Currently I work for Pondstone, as their lead developer.

I was interviewed for an article on monster.ca about the importance of coding, and I regularly mentor with Ladies Learning Code.

I also am one of the co-organizers for WordCamp Ottawa (since 2017), and as of 2016, have been a WordCamp and WordPress meetup speaker – focusing mainly on the WordPress community and raising the profile of the women in the community.

Please also contact me if you are looking for examples of websites I have been part of the development team.
